Staunton Police say a laptop was stolen from an unlocked car on West Beverley Street. The laptop was taken on December 21. It is worth about $1,000.

Augusta County deputies say someone stole a $3,000 diamond ring from a home on Koogler Lane in Raphine. The ring was taken from the bathroom of a house on Christmas. Deputies say they have suspects they are pursuing, but have not made any arrests.

The day after Christmas Harrisonburg Police say someone stole some beer from the Sheetz on East Market Street. The beer was stolen at about 11 p.m.

Shenandoah County deputies are dealing with a theft that relates to the changing weather. They say someone took several heat pumps from a storage building on Powatan Road in Strasburg last week. The thief also took air conditioning units.
