Date for Trial of Shooting Case Pushed Back

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY -- Rudy Dean's trial has been pushed to April 16th, so it won't interfere with a weekend.

Dean is charged with aggravated malicious wounding. Deputies said Dean shot another man following a road rage incident in January 2012. Dean's supporters said it was in self defense.

The prosecutor and Commonwealth's attorney Marsha Garst said the trial should last at least three days because she has at least 30 witnesses testifying.
