HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- First Night Harrisonburg isn't just a big deal for party goers, businesses will also be preparing for extra people.

Jeremiah Young, the owner of Court Square Coffee, has learned so a lot in the two years his business has been open.

One lesson being that New Year's Eve is the only night he stays open late.

Last year, he had someone in shop helping out and he'll have his helper again, but he'll also be even more prepared.

"We're going to have a lot of hot chocolate ready to go. The year previous we didn't have it ready to go, we were just making it one cup at a time through this machine right here. So we're tightening up the assembly line," said Young.
