ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. -- If you voted in Rockingham County you may have noticed not all 30 precincts were reporting totals online.
Jennifer Frederick, the assistant voter registrar in Rockingham County, said that they put all the votes from that precinct in the computer to be used by the State Board of Elections; however, there was a glitch when they tried to download McGaheysville's information.
The precinct numbers didn't get to the board because of a computer error.
Frederick said this is the only issue with the precincts, "It happens fairly frequently when you have a high turnout, especially when everyone's using the system at the same time. It kind of overloads the database and it's frequent that there's some sort of glitch every now and then."
The Electoral Board in the county is canvassing all of the votes and making sure everything is accurate.
