HARRISONBURG --Downtown Harrisonburg may be getting a new addition to help beautify the city. More than 200 guests went to Capital Ale House Saturday to talk about the project.

The group wants to create a living wall for the Elizabeth Street parking deck. Besides the wall, the event will use the money to create more signs and other ways to make downtown easier to navigate. Downtown Renassiance wants to raise about $8,000 for the wall.

"It's so exciting to see this many people downtown. Loving what we are doing and really enthusiastic about the projects and here to support us," said Program Manager Trisha Blosser.

This event has been going on for a few years. All put on by the Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance. Saturday's theme was the Millennium.
