Harrisonburg Salvation Army leaders are in need of bell ringers for this coming July.
They are looking for people to stand by the red kettles for the "Christmas in July" campaign.
The Salvation Army runs low on funds in the summer, that's why there's a second kettle campaign.
More than 350 man hours need to be filled for this summer.
The bell ringing will go on for a week, from July 8th through July 13th.
Those with the Harrisonburg Salvation Army say that this is a good way to help out those around you.
"There's many people in this community that need as much help as those in some of the third world countries. Maybe not as desperate but they still need our help. Let's reach out to our neighbors around here." says Captain Duane Burleigh
Captain Burleigh also says that this is a good time to volunteer because its not going to be snowing or zero degrees out while you're ringing the bell.
If you'd like to volunteer call 540-434-4854
