HARRISONBURG, Va -- The greens weren't at their greenest, but that didn't keep golfers off the Spotswood Country Club course on Tuesday.
Temperatures were more than 20 degrees above average. Instead of bundling up, golfers were happy to leave their jackets at home.
"Today, it's shorts and a T-shirt. It's perfect about 70 degrees. I should've driven my convertible out here," said Kyle Lemish, a golfer.
Spotswood Country Club workers said they were very busy in the pro shop. Golfers filled every tee time from open till 2 p.m. and 90 rounds of golf were played.
