Hollister Plans $29.6M Expansion in Augusta County

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Hollister Inc. plans to expand and upgrade its manufacturing plant in Augusta County.

Gov. Bob McDonnell said Monday that the $29.6 million project will add 50,000 square feet of warehouse space and increase production volume.

Hollister develops, manufactures and markets medical devices. The Augusta County plant employs 100 workers.

McDonnell approved a $250,000 performance-based grant for the project from the the Virginia Investment Partnership program.
