HARRISONBURG, Va -- One engineering class at James Madison University presented various clean energy projects on Wednesday.
One student is working with workers of Wholesome Energy out of Edinburg to figure out how water can make fuel more efficient. So far, they have found that water mixed with fuel releases less emissions into the environment.
Wes Pence, a manger at Wholesome Energy, hopes that a cleaner burn will translate into saving you money on gas in the future.
"We have to work on the combinations and try to figure out, it's going to be a curve, at some point it's going to peak and then it's going to go the other way so we need to find the best combination which will give us the best efficiency and emissions reductions," said Pence.
Pence said their new device is making great progress so far. If their experiment succeeds, he said lots of jobs will be coming to the Valley to help produce this new device.
