HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Most stores in the Valley have extended hours this time of year to help last-minute shoppers.

Josh Knicely waited until a busy Monday night to shop for his wife. He said they spent a lot of time looking for presents for their kids together and that was why his only chance to shop for her was the day before Christmas.

Knicely said it was hard to find parking spots and to walk through stores with so many people doing the same last minute shopping of which he was guilty.

It may not be a surprise to hear how much he doesn't like shopping.

“I wish I was rich enough to hire someone to do it for me because shopping, shopping in December, man that's rough whenever you do it. You might as well dread it for a while," said Knicely.

He said if he would have done it sooner, he may have found a better deal.
