HARRISONBURG -- A Valley man who ran with the bulls on Saturday posted on our Facebook to let WHSV know he survived. So today, WHSV caught up with him.

Greg Marrow is an eye doctor in Harrisonburg. With his wife and kids there to cheer him on, Marrow ran in yesterday's Great Bull Run in Petersburg.

Marrow said it was something he has been itching to do ever since he had to cancel a trip to Pamplona four years ago. He called the run "exhilarating."

"You don't really feel like they're going to veer off and gore you, even though there's that possibility," he said. "I was within probably an arm's length with a couple of the bulls for a long period of time, and it's really exhilarating. Everyone's screaming and yelling, and some people are falling down."

After yesterday, Marrow said he can cross "running with bulls" halfway off his bucket list. He said he still wants to make the trip to Spain's Running of the Bulls because of the event's history.
