STAUNTON, Va -- People celebrated National Food Day on Wednesday. The day focused on locally-grown food and helping people form good habits.

Students at Mary Baldwin College recognized the day by digging through the trash to make the world a better place. Volunteers with the recycling club sorted trash from recyclables.

Restaurants and college campuses around the Valley also held events for Food Day.
