Man Charged in Christmas Eve Stabbing

STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) -- Staunton Police have charged Isaiah Jarod Terry, 26, of Staunton with one count of malicious wounding after a stabbing Tuesday.

At about 5:30 p.m., police responded to the Save-X at 2309 West Beverley Street for a report of a stabbing victim, Sylvester Gentry, 29, of Staunton,.

Gentry entered the Save-X seeking assistance.

Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad took Grentry to Augusta Health and he was then flown to UVA Medical Center.
