STAUNTON -- People in the Valley have another option to gather or meet for work thanks to a new space for rent called 16 West.

16 West is on West Beverly Street and people can rent this space to meet or work. Non-profits and small businesses already have used the space.

Caleb Hartman, the owner of Embry Media, said the shop's mission attracted him to work at 16 West.

“The collaboration is what really attracted me to the space,” said Hartman, “You're instantly able to, when you come up with an idea or need feedback, going over and talk to the person. You have so many different industries here. You have Project Grows, a non-profit, you have the media publishing company to go to. You have all these creative resources to tap into.”

16 West opened in January. It currently houses local businesses, two non-profits and four community groups.
