WHSV TV-3 has made a final decision on this year's Children First Good Neighbor Gift.
A new youth center is coming to Massanutten Regional Library in Harrisonburg.
The library wants a place where teens can be themselves, learn and have fun.
One room will turn into a study area for teens with books, desks and new computers.
Another space will be a large venue where non-profits all over the Valley can host youth focused events.
Already, the library has planned youth dances, shows produced and directed by students and other fun activities.
Sophia Hartman is an eighth grader who wants to study medicine. She says this center will be perfect for her and her friends.
"It will be a nice quite place I can go, and my friends can come help me study," she says. "Then we can go into the other room for all the fun activities."
Her classmate, Tehy Good says it's filling a void in Harrisonburg.
"Teen around here, we don't really have a place to go anymore," she says. "Now, we can actually hang out with our friends and get our school work done, too."
