AUGUSTA COUNTY -- The Community Action Partnership of Staunton, Augusta and Waynesboro, known as “CAPSAW" planned to meet Tuesday night. Members of CAPSAW wanted to determined which organizations in the Valley to give grant money to for the upcoming fiscal year.
Last year, CAPSAW helped out 17 organizations with funds. It awarded the money based on how much an organization helped families overcome financial hardships.
It had close to $200,000 to give out in the past years. CAPSAW leaders hope to give the same amount this year.
