HARRISONBURG -- Police arrested Charles E. Whitney, 44, Harrisonburg, for breaking into homes and impersonating a police officer. The incidents happened between Jan. 11th and 14th.

Whitney is charged with a misdemeanor count of impersonating a police officer and five felony counts of breaking and entering with the intent to commit larceny.
