Police Arrest Man and Find $7,000 of Meth

WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) -- The Waynesboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a city residence that resulted in the arrest of a Waynesboro man and the seizure of approximately $7,000 worth of methamphetamine.

The Waynesboro SWAT Team raided the residence of Fred William Quick, 45 years old, at 1640 10th Street on March 28 at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The arrest comes as the result of an ongoing drug investigation. Officers charged Quick with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. He is being held on a $20,000 bond at Middle River Regional Jail.

Additional charges are pending against Quick.
