WAYNESBORO -- The police department needs your help finding a man, who it says was involved in an assault of a Waynesboro woman from earlier this year.

Police say Leslie Terrell Wilmott, 27, of Staunton; Sudana Louise Wilmott, 23, of Staunton; and a 17-year-old boy from Nelson County were involved in a beating. Investigators say the incident happened at a 26-year-old woman's house in the 600 block of N Delphine Avenue in February. They say when the 26-year-old woman answered her door, Sudana Wilmott began to hit her multiple times in the face. Investigators say Leslie Wilmott and the 17-year-old boy prevented anyone from coming to help the victim during the attack. The victim suffered a broken nose and several bruises.

Sudana Wilmott turned herself in for felonious assault, burglary and assault by mob. She is being held at the Middle River Regional Jail without bond.

Leslie Wilmott, the man police are looking for, is wanted for felonious assault/principal second degree, burglary and assault by mob.

Anyone with information about Leslie Wilmott is asked to call the Waynesboro Police Department at 540-942-6675 or Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-2017. Information can be given to Crime Stopper anonymously. Callers with information that leads to an arrest are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
