HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- The Harrisonburg Police Department is still investigating Tuesday's shooting that killed Traman Turner.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Commerce Drive at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday after the report of a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Turner, 27, of Harrisonburg was found unresponsive in the parking lot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators later identified the suspect as Delano D. Fitz. He is a 27-year-old black male, who is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 168 pounds.

Fitz is wanted for for first degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Police are asking for assistance from members of the community in locating this suspect. He is still considered armed and dangerous.
