ROCKINGHAM COUNTY -- Nearly all SVEC customers have had their power restored Monday night.
On Monday morning, more than 1,000 customers in Rockingham County were without power.
SVEC Spokesperson Mike Aulgur said they had crews on standby Sunday night to respond to outages during the snow storm.
The crews worked hard all throughout Monday to restore power to their customers.
Aulgur said the outages were scattered throughout the Valley becasue the snow from this storm was spread evenly to all areas.
Aulgur also said some of the outages were due to Dominion Power losing a feed in some areas.
He said SVEC back-fed electricity to many homes to make up for the loss from Dominion Power.
