HARRISONBURG -- With the NCAA championship basketball game on Monday night, a lot of people in the Valley will be visiting restaurants to watch TV.

Restaurant workers in the area prepared for that rush of customers.

Two such restaurants are Billy Jack's and Jack Brown's in downtown Harrisonburg. Aaron Ludwig, the owner, planned to show the game on TVs in both places.

Extra wait staff and food was on standby in anticipation of the crowds.

One of the best sellers on nights like this is beer, so extra was ordered.

The two restaurants are usually busy on big game days and Ludwig expected Monday night to be no different.

“You got people on each side of whatever sports team they are cheering for. You get a lot of smack getting talked and stuff like that. Its a great scene. The crowd is always very enthusiastic and it makes for a really great night,” said Ludwig.

The championship game starts at 9:23 p.m. You can watch the game on our sister station CBS the V.
