WOODSTOCK, Va -- A huge drug bust involving drugs, guns and cash happened at a convenience store that locals nicknamed, “the hot spot.”

The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office along with RUSH Drug Task Force raided that store on Friday afternoon. They netted bath salts, marijuana, K2, spice, three firearms and $190,000 in cash.

Larry Franklin Walsh, 73, is at the center of this bust. He lived in the building that housed “the hot spot,” also known as B&L Discount Store.

Franklin is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

It was through tips from neighbors and confidential informants that authorities were able to arrest Walsh.

Walsh is out of jail now and his next court date is Dec. 14th.
