Shopping Center Businesses Put on Lock Down

HARRISONBURG -- According to Virginia State Police, someone found a WWII era artillery device in the parking lot of Market Square East Shopping Center.

There was no explosive device inside of the device, so no one was in any immediate danger.
Retailers in the Market Square East Shopping Center between Route 33 and Burgess Road told WHSV that police have instructed them to be on lock down. No one is allowed in or out of the buildings.

WHSV have also heard reports of multiple police cars blocking the entrances to the shopping center.
