Ski Resort Upgrades Water Tank to Produce More Snow

WINTERGREEN, Va -- Wintergreen resort is installing a new water tank to double the amount of snow it can produce. The new tank can hold up to 5-million gallons of water and it replaces a tank that held less than 20 percent of the new tank.

Wintergreen was in desperate need of the 6-million dollar tank. They will now be able to produce snow for all of the slopes versus just one or two.

The project is expected to be completed by this upcoming winter season.
