FISHERSVILLE -- State lawmakers took questions Tuesday night on the state of mental health.

'Stand Up for Mental Health' is the slogan Mental Health America of Augusta is using. People at the forum were allowed to give their opinions and voice concerns for people with mental health disabilities.

"They need housing, and housing is still a big issue. Jobs are an issue that needs improvement. Not only for this community but across the state," said Executive Director of MHA-A Donna Gum.

Legislators that attended the forum at Augusta Health were Delegate Dickie Bell, Senator Emmett Hanger and representatives from Bob Goodlatte's office.
