HARRISONBURG, Va –- A wreck on Friday involved a car that completely flipped over. It happened on Smithland Rd in Harrisonburg. Police said the driver lost control of the car because the road was too slippery. The driver is 20 years old and charged with reckless driving.

Sgt Pete Ritchie with the Harrisonburg Police Department said you should drive slower than usual when it rains so this does not happen to you.

"If you go out there and stand on the road, you can see that it's slick just by moving your foot, so it's been like that all day today. We've had multiple car crashes today in the city, so that's just the way it's going to be until the rain stops," said Sgt. Pete Ritchie.

Ritchie says no one was hurt in the accident.
