HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- With snow on the way, many people are heading to the grocery store to stock up on supplies.
James Williams went to Red Front Supermarket to prepare for the storm.
"I'm here picking up as many snacks as I can fit in that little basket so I can stay home tomorrow," said Williams.
Omar is also shopping, but not for storm preps.
"Just regular grocery shopping, but now that you're telling me it's going to snow. I'm glad I came today," said Omar.
A few aisles, housing the milk and water have empty spots, but most people are like Omar, buying enough just to get by.
"I wouldn't say stocking up, but pretty much just trying to get through this week. Then we'll see what happens next week," said Omar.
For Williams, this little basket will have to last him for the long haul.
"A week, ten days, two weeks? You have enough snacks for that? Yep," said Williams.
Remember, the longer you wait, the slimmer pickings will be.
