Toughest Meals in the Valley Round 4: Dan's Steak House

Tom Dempsey takes on his fourth challenge in the Toughest Meals of the Valley series.

The next stop is at Dan's Steak House in Luray.

Christy Baker, who's the owner of Dan's, says they don't mess around when it comes to red meat.

"We cut our own steaks here. Everything's fresh here when it comes in and we cut to order. We're family-owned and everyone who comes in here is our family,” said Baker.

For this challenge, I'm up against a steak weighing 72 ounces and four sides to choose from.

I chose apple sauce, coleslaw, a salad and a baked potato.

I have one hour to finish it all.

Within 10 minutes, I had made a dent. Ten minutes later, the apples were gone and I had moved onto the coleslaw.

But with only 15 minutes to go, I had to stop. Once again, I could not take on one of the toughest meals in the Valley.
