PAGE COUNTY, Va. -- A tractor trailer crash off of Route 211 sent one driver to the hospital.
Police say at 2:55 p.m., Ata Naiz, 55, Harrisonburg, the driver of the tractor trailer, was going 55 mph, which police said was too fast for driving conditions. He was headed east on Route 211 when, police say, he turned too fast and the weight in his truck shifted. The truck went through a guard rail and into an embankment.
The driver was flown to Winchester Medical Center with serious injuries.
One lane was closed and traffic was redirected with the help of multiple agencies.
Charges are pending and the crash is still under investigation.
