Two Sent to Hospital after Tractor Trailer Crash on I-81

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY -- Traffic is finally moving after a crash on Interstate 81 backed up both northbound lanes for nearly six hours.

According to Virginia State Police, a car switched lanes, lost control and hit a tractor trailer around mile marker 257.

The tractor-trailer over-turned on its side, blocking off traffic in the northbound lanes.

The tractor-trailer driver is Kenneth Joseph from Bridgewater. He was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center.

The driver of the car was taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital, and he's facing reckless driving charges.
