HARRISONBURG -- A new television show is coming to the Valley and it all started from the Internet.
The show is called Aux Send and Dough Stanford, the show's creator, started shooting the pilot episode on Thursday.
The show brings in local independent bands from the area to perform and have a sit down interview. Stanford said he thought it was fun to combine shooting video with audio recording.
It all started with a simple audio and video test when he shot a friend performing and liked how it looked.
His crew will be shooting the show in Winchester and in Harrisonburg.
Stanford said the television show will be slightly reformatted in order to be broadcast.
"It was beyond my dreams it would go anywhere but the Internet. The best I've ever expected would be demo for a bigger show that the company might produce," said Stanford.
Aux Send's first episode is set to air in March. The show will be on WVPT and will have 13 episodes.
The first guest on the show will be Jenny Dalton, who is a singer song writer.
