Waterman Elementary School in Harrisonburg will be putting a $,1000 grant to good use.
The money will help a program called Peer Pals.
Teacher Jennifer Wright says, "The Peer Pals program takes mainstream peers who deserve some extra recognition, to come and help in my special needs classroom. And we will use this money for shirts for all of the students and for an end-of-year breakfast for the Peer Pals and awards for the Peer Pals and a possible trip for both groups."
Bob Wade Autoworld made the donation and picked the winner.
It's part of Project 3, a partnership involving WHSV-TV3, local businesses and area schools.
