1 10oz. pkg. chopped frozen spinach
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 T. dried basil
1/2 c. fresh parsley or 2 T. dried
1/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/4 c. commercial fat-free Italian salad dressing
1. Thaw spinach and squeeze out water. Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
2. Spread pesto sauce on a thin purchased or homemade pizza shell and top with 5 oz. grated mozarella cheese and bake at 425 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes. Or use the sauce on hot cooked pasta.
