Chefs Famous Southwestern BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced red, yellow, and green peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. diced banana peppers
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. In sauce pan on medium heat add olive oil. Add mixed peppers, onions, garlic and crushed red peppers.



    2. Sauté until onions and peppers are tender. Add banana peppers, Worcestershire sauce and BBQ sauce. Reduce to simmer for 10-15 minutes and allow to cool.



    3. Use this to baste your favorite style ribs, steaks or chicken.
