Police Make Two Arrests with Help of Special Weapon and Tactics Team

HARRISONBURG -- On Friday at 11:30 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of Rockingham Drive in an effort to find Jai E. Williams and Erica R. Whitlow after someone called to report seeing the two. Williams and Whitlow were wanted on outstanding felony and misdemeanor drug charges.

Officers made several attempts to communicate with Williams and Whitlow, but the two refused to answer the door.

A short time later, officers obtained a search warrant and with the help of the special weapon and tactics team, entered the residence. There, they found Williams and Whitlow and arrested the two.

Because Williams and Whitlow evaded arrest since February and were wanted on felony charges, officers secured parts of Rockingham Drive.
