I am from Hollywood, Florida and lived there until I left for Bridgewater College following my senior year in High school. I graduated from Bridgewater in 2010 and resumed my academic career at James Madison University in 2011 with my sights on a Master’s degree in Biology.
Occupation and other community service you are involved in: I perform research and teach labs at James Madison University. I also manage the door at Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint over the weekend.
Fun facts about you: I enjoy the simple things in life. I have a passion for traveling and have been all over Europe, with the hope of returning as often as possible in the future.
Why did you decide to participate in DWTS? I was approached by a dancing colleague of mine and consider it an honor to be participating in my first DWTS.
I love to dance because…. It can be that excuse to dress up, go out on the town and have a good time. Dancing has also lead to many different opportunities for me throughout the time I have spent in Harrisonburg.
