Virginia's Presidential Primary registration deadline is closing in, ending on Monday, January 14.

Any Virginian can vote on either party's primary, because when you register in Virginia, you are not asked to pick a political party affiliation.

However, when you go to vote in the primary, you have to pick just one party to vote for, either Republican or Democratic.

You cannot vote in the primaries for both parties.

Area registrars are already preparing and setting up voting machines.

Virginia's primaries are February 12.
