Two area Democrats will be on the primary ballot in the 25th District Tuesday. Both candidates declined interviews with WHSV Monday.
Greg Marrow, a Harrisonburg eye doctor, says on his Website he wants to see the restructuring of the health care system. Marrow is also a U.S. Navy veteran who wants to start state and local programs to help soldiers transition back into civilian life.
In an April interview with the News Leader, the other candidate, James Noel, said he will not be a rubber stamp for the Democratic party. Noel said he would like to see a high-speed rail system built to ease overcrowding on Interstate 81.
Tuesday's winner will face Republican Incumbent Steve Landes in the election.
