Bowl of Good Prepares Brazilian Food for World Cup

HARRISONBURG, Va. It is a busy time of year for local restaurants, as they prepare for the World Cup. Some restaurants offering drink specials and hanging flags with different countries playing in the games.

Bowl of Good is bringing in a flat screen television and cooking special Brazilian, and other ethnic foods, for the games.

Katrina Didot, the Owner of Bowl of Good, shares some simple Brazilian recipes to try at home.

BRAZILIAN RECIPES:

Acai Smoothie:
-Acai Pulp
-Banana
-Yogurt
-Honey
-Milk

FeiJoada:
-Make your favorite black bean soup
-Onion
-Garlic
-Bay leaf
-Add in salted meats, such as bacon, dry beef, corn beef, sausage and other pork
-Slow cook
