AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va -- A lot of people were happy with what Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney had to say during Wednesday night's presidential debate, so they were even more excited to see him in Augusta County on Thursday.
A look at the crowd showed people filling in towards the stage. People of all ages were walking in through the security gates at the Augusta County Expo.
Pat Holloway, one Romney supporter, described how it felt to see Presidential Candidate Romney in person.
"I'm super excited," said Holloway. "I went to see Ryan at the fairgrounds in Harrisonburg and I'm tickled to death today to see Mr. Romney and so excited about the debate last night and yes, he knocked them out of the ballpark."
Kate Babock is a Bridgewater College student, who attended the event. She described her reaction to seeing Romney and Paul Ryan, his running mate, together.
"It's really cool to see them together and actually my friend told me about it a couple days ago. This is an experience that I have to have."
People at the event said it was a good experience to see Romney do such a great job in last night's debate.
