First Vote-by-Mail in One WV City

Morgantown is holding West Virginia's first vote-by-mail election.

Tuesday is the last day for voters to cast ballots in the city's municipal election.

Voters who hadn't returned ballots to the city by mail could place them in drop boxes. The deadline is 8 p.m.

City Clerk Linda Little tells The Dominion Post that the city has received more ballots for this election than voters cast at polling places in the 2009 election.
