Bob Henry Baber has won the Mountain Party's nomination for West Virginia governor.

Baber earned the nomination at the party's convention Sunday in Sutton. The other candidate, Jesse Johnson, withdrew his name from consideration and endorsed Baber prior to the vote.

Baber will face the nominees from the Democratic and Republican parties in the general election in November. Those candidates will be chosen in the May 14 primary.
