Only about one third of eligible voters in the Valley showed up at the polls on Tuesday.
Voter turnout was strongest in Rockingham County, at 39 percent. It was driven by the interest in the sheriff's race.
In Page County, turnout was 32 percent.
It was 30 percent in Shenandoah County.
In Augusta County, turnout was just 26 percent.
