W.Va. GOP Names 2 Reps for National Convention

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A former state Republican Party chairman and a former Kanawha County party leader will serve as national committee representatives to the GOP's national convention.

The Charleston Gazette (http://bit.ly/NgnAkV ) says the state party's Executive Committee chose Kris Warner and Melody Party this past weekend.

The Republican National Convention will be held in Tampa Bay, Fla., from Aug. 27 to Aug. 30.

Warner is a former state Republican chairman. Potter is a former chairwoman of the Kanawha County Republican Executive Committee.
