"Jeopardy!" Host Hospitalized

A spokesman says longtime "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek has been hospitalized after a minor heart attack.

The 67-year-old was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles late Monday night. A "Jeopardy!" spokesman says Trebek is expected to remain there about two days for tests and observation.

The spokesman said, "Thankfully it was a minor heart attack."

A post on the official "Jeopardy!" Web site says Trebek is "resting comfortably" and "will be back in the studio for the next scheduled tapings in January."

The heart attack was first reported by "Entertainment Tonight."
