A local Waynesboro businesses will be featured this Sunday night on ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

Rick Wheeler and a co-worker spent a week cleaning the clothes of the Lucas family in Rice, Virginia while the family's new home was being built.

Wheeler owns a clothes cleaning and restoration company and was asked by ABC for help. He says the experience of helping a military family in need, which took place in December, was a humbling one.

Wheeler says, "It was exciting to see the people you see every Sunday night on TV, not to really come into contact with them per say, but to able to see them and to experience helping somebody."

Wheeler took his son and a friend along for the family's big reveal. He says it's just as exciting and emotional as it looks on TV.

You can catch Waynesboro's Rick Wheeler on Extreme Makeover-Home Edition this Sunday night at 8 p.m. right here on WHSV-TV3.
