Hundreds of Valley residents expressed their sorrow and love for Michael Jackson by calling into local radio stations.
Two radio hosts at Q101 Radio answered calls throughout the night. They say most of the calls were celebrating Michael Jackson's life, influence and contribution to the music world.
Callers varied in age from eight to 60.
"Endless calls. At times, the calls would get jammed up. We would answer and people would be like thank you for answering so much. People would hold for ten minutes or 15 minutes at a time just to get their words on the air. It was just a tremendous response," says Ryan O'Bryan, Q101 afternoon radio host.
The hosts for Q101 said they expected to keep their lines open Friday evening for listeners to continue to call in to the radio station.

Yeah, and several other stations played his music through the night and took calls as well...most with better results. Meaning no old women accusing him of being a pedifile.
it is nice people were able to call in their thoughts. Would have been better if the radio hosts new something about MJ and could relate.
