The new Miss America took a piece of the Valley on stage with her this weekend.
Caressa Cameron purchased the black beaded dress she wore during her talent performance at Reflections in Harrisonburg.
She was fitted for the gown at Reflections, then picked it up just two weeks before the Miss Virginia pageant.
The store's owner, Joy Salyards, was thrilled for Cameron even if she couldn't watch her win.
"I don't get that channel on any television where I'm at, so I had to find out that Caressa won through text messaging. But she won and that's the most important thing," says Salyards.
The gown's designer, Tony Bowls, will be in Harrisonburg in late February to host the annual Saint Jude Prom Fashion Show.
