Comcast Change to Affect Customers by Nov. 9

Comcast will make the digital transition on Nov. 9 and this could affect you.

Comcast customers that do not use a digital converter box will lose their television signal.

The cable company is making the change in order to free bandwidth space.

According to one of the company's representatives, one analog channel uses the same space to run ten digital channels.

“By delivering our channels in digital format we can use our channels more efficiently and add more of the services that our customers are asking for,” said Alisha Martin, a Senior Public Relations Manager for Comcast.

Customers can receive a digital converter box for free by calling 1-877-634-4434.
